My NYE mani was Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear (aside: 1993 called; it wants its “marketing to kids” buzzword back) Celeb City, which is a gorgeous bright silver foil. Unfortunately for Celeb City, it can barely be seen under two honking coats of Milani Gems. Gems is one of the many drugstore dupes for Deborah Lippmann Happy Birthday, and it’s essentially big, chunky glitter in a clear base.

I’m not sure I dig the clown barf look on me, especially on my little nubs - my dishwashing gloves did not survive our move, and I managed to break two nails after scrubbing dishes the other day (womp womp). It is super blingy and festive though, and I enjoyed peeking at it while at the gym this morning.
